I’ve been slowly moving the things I used for ceramics during the summer back to the school in order to use them there. I miss having the time I had this summer but I am incredibly excited about the students brand new to ceramics and the repeat customers who are expressing ambition in learning new things: slipcasting for individual projects, a series of work on the wheel, developing a portfolio for submission to the college board and for admission to RISD. I sometimes stop in wonder at the rich and varied dreams my incredible students have. I am blessed (yeesh overused word much?) that I am witness to their development and growth as citizens of the world. Here’s a bear. 😁
